Preparation underway for Durham 2012 School Games

With the summer getting closer Durham County are starting to gear up for the 2012 School Games, linking together with the England Athletics’ Workforce Credit Scheme young people from across the county today attended the Young Leaders Officiating course at the Riverside Athletics Track, Chester-le-Street. 

Although the weather conditions were not ideal the young leaders showed great enthusiasm and acquired the skills which will enable them to help out on future events.
