Dorset gears up for 2012 School Games...

During the last Summer holidays and since the appointment of the new School Games Organisers (SGO's), Dorset has been busy planning an amazing school games event to take place at Kings Park, Bournemouth on 13 July 2012. This will coincide with the arrival of the Olympic Torch in Bournemouth and mass celebrations to mark Olympic Year.

Dorset has chosen to use QuadKids as the competition format for all its primary schools in 2012. Inter-schools events in the various SGO areas will result in the top schools being invited to the County Final event at Kings Park Athletics Stadium on 13 July.

This will be a very exciting event allowing the young athletes to celebrate and participate in the senior sport of the Olympics!
