How to use the new Quadrathlon award structure

The first task is to complete the 4 QuadKids
events which are :

Quadkids Start - for year 3-4 children

50m Sprint
400m Run
Mini Vortex Howler Throw
Standing Long Jump

QuadKids Primary - for year 5-6 children

75m Sprint
600m Run
Vortex Howler Throw
Standing Long Jump

QuadKids Secondary - for year 7-8 children

100m Sprint
800m Run
Vortex Howler Throw
Long Jump

This can be done either as part of an inter-school competition, or over several PE sessions.

Each time/distance for the 4 events yields a points score, and the aggregate 4 event total
is the Quadrathlon score.

The points score will either be generated by the QuadKids spreadsheet used in competitions
& available as a download, or the scoring table can be downloaded & printed and the points
total calculated manually:

The new awards comprise a 13 step ladder enabling children to track their individual progress
up the ladder as they improve across the 4 QuadKids events over time.

This new awards structure which incorporates the QuadKids quadrathlon has been developed in
partnership with UK Athletics and English Schools Athletics Association.

A standard package of badge + certificate costs £2.00 inc VAT to a school or direct to parents
